The New League Logo After being known as the Lancashire Evening Post Sunday Football League since its inception in 1967, member clubs have supported the management committee’s recommendation to change the name of the League and from the Annual General Meeting on Monday 18 June the league will be known as;
The Lancashire Sunday Football League The decision to change of name of the League followed a dispute with an international company over image rights. The dispute had nothing whatsoever to do with the Lancashire Evening Post or its associated companies and we look forward to continuing our excellent relationship with the newspaper.
The League management committee is grateful to the Lancashire Evening Post and its staff, past and present, for their help and support and we will always remember that this League was formed by employees of the Newspaper.

Rob Molyneux has been recommended to the league by clubs who have used his services for sports injuries and physiotherapy and he has an impressive list of qualifications in his field.

Charter Standard club Warton Typhoons FC are looking for an experienced manager for their team in division 4 and to work with the club's coaching staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone to join this well organised and progressive club.

Our weekly fitness sessions with the excellent facilities on offer at the Arena and the support group atmosphere is something very positive which the Society offers.
Organiser Paul Marsden said, "I would particularly appeal to any members who perhaps do not currently attend Society meetings for whatever reason to give the fitness sessions a go as I assure you that you will find it a very good way of getting involved, it will benefit your refereeing.If you are interested in coming down either next week or in the future, please contact Paul Marsden via e-mail .
Referees are needed to ensure that games in the local leagues have a qualified official.
