UCLAN Youth Tournament - Sunday 9 August 2009The University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN) is holding a tournament for youth teams on Sunday 9th August 2009 at their excellent facilities at Preston Sports Arena. Old Blackburnians LammackOld Blackburnians Lammack are new members of the League's youth section Youth and they need a goalkeeper for the coming season. The team has won back to back doubles in their previous league and reached this season's LFA-U18 Cup Final. Physical fitness training continues during the summerLast season may have finished but training continues throughout the summer for fitness test preparation and pre season 2009-10 training. Training will be held from 6.30-7.30pm every Monday evening at Preston Sports Arena. Our weekly fitness sessions with the excellent facilities on offer at the Arena and the support group atmosphere is something very positive which the Society offers. Organiser Paul Marsden said, "I would particularly appeal to any members who perhaps do not currently attend Society meetings for whatever reason to give the fitness sessions a go as I assure you that you will find it a very good way of getting involved, and it will benefit your refereeing.If you are interested in coming down either next week or in the future, please contact Paul Marsden via e-mail p.marsden@dunelm.org.uk.
