Special Training Session for Young Referees - Monday 1 December 2008

Preston Referees Society are holding a special fitness training session exclusively for 14-18 year old referees on Monday 1 December at Preston Sports Arena, at 6.30pm.

This will be an ideal opportunity for any young referee to find out what happens at the weekly sessions and how their refereeing careers could benefit from all the support and encouragement that is available.

Anybody who is interested in attending or has any questions should contact Paul Marsden, Preston Referees fitness leader, at p.marsden@dunelm.org.uk

Physical Fitness Training

Due to the success of the earlier starting time to accommodate Euro 2008, we have decided that in future the Physical Fitness Programme will move permanently to the new time of 6.30-7.30pm every Monday evening at Preston Sports Arena.

Our weekly fitness sessions with the excellent facilities on offer at the Arena and the support group atmosphere is something very positive which the Society offers.

Organiser Paul Marsden said, "I would particularly appeal to any members who perhaps do not currently attend Society meetings for whatever reason to give the fitness sessions a go as I assure you that you will find it a very good way of getting involved, and it will benefit your refereeing.

If you are interested in coming down either next week or in the future, please contact Paul Marsden via e-mail p.marsden@dunelm.org.uk.
